Our Story
We started as part of a Gold Coast based business that started outsourcing work to the Philippines 7 years ago. We began by trying to go through outsourcing websites and then went through a BPO centre but none of that worked properly. We soon realised that to do it effectively we needed to go to the Philippines and set up our own HR department and build our own overseas team. This decision transformed our business to the point that the business now has over 50 overseas staff as well as a rapidly expanded local team of employees.

Over time, we learnt exactly what is required to make an overseas team effective. Clear and transparent communications with the support of Filipino based Cultural ambassadors, embedding of your own culture, finding the right project management tools and offering flexible working environments are just some of the many lessons that we have been able to perfect with our current structure.
With a solid platform in place, we knew that we could help other businesses to replicate our success. our Director saw the opportunity to help other businesses build their own teams and from this concept, our Overseas Teams VA Service offerings were born.

About Kelly
Kelly started Overseas Teams after 25 years in senior management roles spanning across the IT, Sporting, Print, Tourism and Hospitality sectors.
A qualified solicitor and business growth specialist, Kelly has led many businesses through rapid expansion and transformation. His accolades include numerous Management, Marketing and Business Innovation Awards including the Australian Institute of Management FNQ Young Manager of the Year.
Kelly's passion is helping others succeed, and after witnessing the success of virtual assistants within his previous business, is now driven to help others share in the success that his experience brings.
About Natalia
With almost 12 years of experience across various corporate roles, Natalia has honed her skills in customer service, business development, and project management.
As the head of our services team, she’s the main point of contact for all businesses who hire a VA, handling all client and partnership relationships and ensuring that all stakeholders receive the highest quality service.
Her extensive experience is backed by diplomas in business administration and project management. These qualifications, combined with her passion for helping others and a desire to make a positive impact, ensure that each client receives personalised attention and the best possible service.
About Kathy
Kathy is an HR professional with over 12 years experience, 10 of which has been in a leadership role. As our Filipino-based manager, she has her CHRP certification and has supported multinational companies in the technology and finance industries.
At Overseas Teams, she liaises with both clients and VA staff, handles disciplinary processes, reviews policies and procedures, and provides recruitment support.
About Yasmin
With over 7 years of experience in HR, Yasmin has a true passion for recruitment and HR assistance. She enjoys working with people and helping them find their ideal job and career path, as well as seeing them become the perfect fit for a company in need.
Based from the Phillipines, she provides assistance in all aspects of VA service administration and works directly with VA staff to address any HR concerns.
